SURGERY:
The hospital has four operating tables and surgeries performed on all working days and also on Sunday if required. At present all types of anterior segment surgeries including corneal transplantation is being performed in our OT.

SOCIAL SERVICES
Community Outreach programs:
Cataract screening camps—patients who are diagnosed to have cataracts are counselled and transported to the base hospital for free cataract surgeries. These free cataract surgeries have been going on since the very inception of this hospital.
School children screening eye camps— To detect any uncorrected refractive error which is the main cause of vision impairment in children aged 6 to15 years of age.
VISION CENTRES
The hospital has 3 vision centres:
1. Sonapur (Monday to Saturday)
2. Kamakhyaguri (Only Sunday)
3. Hamiltonganj (Only Monday).
